*Reaching MBT on low octane fuels*

I'm just curious to see what some people have top say about whether or not its possible to reach MBT on 91 octane fuel. I would think on 91 the knock threshold would be reached long before MBT is found.

Also, if you've reached MBT on lets say "93" octane and you switch over to 100 octane which has a higher knock threshold than 93. Is there more power gains to be had since you've raised the KNock threshold or is MBT, MBT regaurdless of what fuel you are using?

All three of the fuels listed will be detonation limited before MBT.

Thats what I figured. So E85 is the only one you can get to MBT on? or c16/q16
