Engine service light flash
So I was just driving down the road and was in 3rd gear and i decided to pull in 3rd just for fun. When I did my engine service light flashed like 2 times and then went away. What does that mean? My evo x gsr is completely stock with stage 0 tune from the cobb accessport. Thanks for the info ahead of time.

Since you have a cobb i would suggest do some data logging. If the cobb map is set to flash when the engine knocks find out how many counts of knock you have. On the evo X the check engine light could also flash if the boost goes over 30psi(unlikely if it is truly stock with only a flash). Both issues could be catastrophic and lead to premature engine failure.

Is it because of the tune? Because I noticed that this only happens when I'm using the stage 0. I completely uninstalled it and I reinstalled it; retuned it to stage 1 and tested to see if that light flashes both attempts and it didn't flash...

I am not trying to be mean, but you should probably go back to you factory tune and research the "tuning" process. You will find that all of these off the shelf tunes are using a set of aftermarket parts standards to get a general tune. Usually they are conservative so as to not cause detonation, with the caution of that side and less power. However your car could have an issue or be running at a higher altitude, or bad fuel, or dirty plugs, or clogged injector/s, etc. You get the picture. If I were you I would research what the tuning process does and figure out why you need a tune, or what you are trying to accomplish. I agree with the poster above it is most likely a knock indicator, which is a function the Cobb maps now do, but you should want to know why you are knocking, or at least how much you are knocking (read detonation). Good luck.
