hi i have a 2008 evo gsr im currently in the process of tuning my car and im doing wot pulls from 2-7k and my car is bogging and backfiring wot . been searching for a week cant seem to find a solution

ams downpipe
custom exhaust
k&n intake
1000 cc injectors
3.5 innercooler piping
stage 3 clutch

 

Do you have a AFR guage? Could either be not going into open loop soon enough, could need new plugs

 

i have a afr gauge it goes lean as soon as i got 50% on throttle .. i changed plugs gapped at .20 , it does it in all gears soo now im changing fuel pump

 

It's either the relay or the open loop load High Octane map is set too high so that its still closed loop. I'd start with the relay and see if that fixes it, if not it's part of the tune

 

i had the green relays in about to the newest black omron one and i switched the green ones back out and it still does it so i put the new black ones in .. i changes spark plugs and im thinking new coils and fuel pump ..

 

Was the source of this issue identified and resolved? I am having the same issue.
