Sakura street exhaust with TP, driving untuned question

Sakura street exhaust with TP, driving untuned question
Hello,
I am planning to install a Sakura Street catback and a AMS TP(non resonated). Stock downpipe(pipe before cat). The others power mods in my pretty much stock car are I have an cobb AP, UICP, Cobb intake.
I know i need a custom tune and i plan to get it done at a reputed tuning shop in Detroit metro.
Question
1. After the exhaust install can i drive the car (not aggressive, no WOT, easy on the pedal) before i get a tune(maybe a week from now)? Or is it downright dangerous to drive the car with TP+exhaust and no tune? I am getting mixed opinions about this.
The issue is, I am doing this install on a saturday, would like to take it to a car meet, running errands over weekend etc.
What do you think? If it is not too much of your time, could you also give me a logic or reasoning for your response. I would just like to learn.
Also, does anyone else have this set up? Sakura+AMS TP? is this too loud and boomy?
