I've changed the crank sensor and oil control valve exhaust side. And keep getting the code back . I check the chain it doesn't have stretch what could I be missing?

There is a TSB out there for our cars that need a ECU reprogramming to correct this issue. I changed my Timing Chain and the sensors and the lights never went away. Had the dealership do the TSB and voila, no more errors.

TSB 11-13-008 for the P0017 code

Just going to put in my two sense here. So I orginally got this same code p0017. Figured it was timing chain due to being at 52000 miles. Upgraded the timing chain, went to the dealership and had them do the timing chain re learn value. Replaced both of the sensors. After this still pulling the same code. Had the car sent to my tuner to have some adjustments done and they did there best to diagnose it as well. What they told me was most likely your cam gear is stuck. Just wanted to give everyone that has tried everything else something else to look out for.

Were you able to solve the code? Having same issues with P0017 code. It will come and go. It is getting annoying. Thanks!

So how about your tune? Do you have a tune on your car?

changing timing chain solved it for me. it could also be exhaust cam gear sensor or exhaust cam gear. also what year is your car and what mods do u have.
