stage 3 COBB performance package , do I need a protune?

Hey Guys! I have a Stage 3 COBB performance package, from SF INTAKE down to catback, the only not COBB that I got is an AMS UICP, will I be ok with stage 3 OTS map or do I still need a protune? Newbie question, any input will be very much appreciated. Thanks!!! Cheers!!!

Yeah you'll be fine but you should still get a pro tune to maximize your setup. OTS maps leave a lot on the table

Get over to Moore for a tune, a pro tune will always be better than an OTS map.

Not sure if your into launching your car buuuttt... I have found that the OTS Cobb maps for Evo X exhibit a NASTY and DANGEROUS overboost on launch.

I posted a long time ago to Cobb on the issue. Basically the 1st gear boost reduction is not used on the OTS maps and when the duty cycle is instantly used on launch it is too much and I almost hit 30psi
