intake filter change

intake filter change
do we need retune if changing the intake filter from 6' to 5'?
i am planning to change from my map 3.5 intake to the moore automotive 3.5 intake. the problem is moore supply 5' filter instead of 6' that map supplied.
is this matter at all as long as the pipe diameter is the same?
