Big cam big head tuning
I’ve finally got my engine back in the car and ready for tuning. I’ve been trying to get it going on my own but I can’t get it to idle (cranks, starts then dies) when hot(+180*). The car runs cold just fine, but fails with a hot restart. I have a fully built 2.0ltr with an English Racing race head, GSC S2 cams, ID1300xds injectors, Omni 4 bar, gtx3076r and a whole host of other stuff. The car was tuned by ER before the new engine and ran well. So far I’ve tried changing the cranking ipw, enrichment cranking ipw, added a timing from a little to a lot, +/- fuel to high octane map, zeroed the MIVEC, and +/- the target AFR. I haven’t played with the MAP calibration tables which I’m sure needs to be adjusted. Can someone point me in the right direction?
