Anyone have actual Evo X internal details such as what the sleeves are made of, if its fully open deck, semi-closed etc - Pics would be great too. I havent been able to find real info, just marketing BS. Thanks!

 

Its an open deck .. Darton is almost done with their sleeve delvelopment. We are currently working on a sleeved motor for the car ..

There is an official Mitsubishi video floationg around EVOm that gose over the motor inside and out Search 4b11 you'll find it

 

I thought that was the base 4B11, marketing stuff said that the Evo X block is modified to be semi-closed and had some sort of special sleeves (not the usual ductile steel) for less friction blah blah blah - I could be wrong. I trust if turbotrix says its an open deck.

Thats killer man, I am shocked that shops are already doing sleeve development this soon. And your working on a built motor the car...freekin awsome. As I have always said I truley believe this car is going to be a monster.

 

Wow props to TT. I guess they want to be the first in the 10's with this one too.

can you gives un any information? be nice to be able to drop some biggger bore sleves in there. then 2.3ltr and 10K rpm could work together!
