OK, who else has a smelly clutch when upshifting or driving spiritedly? I have never launched this car and am driving it normally.

Anyone else notice this?

My VIII's stock clutch always smelled when driving hard. No launching, just driving spiritedly as you say. Solved via a call to Southbend...

I do think that is what it was. Today was a whole lot better than yesterday, and yesterday was better than the day before. Thanks for posting!

^ Yes very true even with your foot against the clutch petal which may not seem like any pressure may be just enought to keep it from locking up fully. Allowing it to slip just so very slightly over time building heat hence the smell.

Been driving over half my life. I know better than to do something stupid like that. This is just in normal driving.
