RPM's jump when clutch is engaged

So recently I've noticed that when I step on the clutch, the RPM's slightly jump. This happens on a cold start. It goes away after the car is warmed up after driving it for a bit. Anyone else experience this or know why this happens?

Thanks

You mean on cold start and at idle? Yeah it's normal. Once you start the car the rpm's jump high and drop very slightly when you let go of the clutch pedal. That's just the inertia being added by the input shaft and gears from the transmission side when your drivetrain is engaged.
