AMS EVO X Engineering thread... Big update on page 3!
That whole setup looks badass. The intercooler, intake, and ic piping, and I especially like the relocation of the bov. Does that put it closer to the lower ic pipe than the stock config? And yes, some sort of cold air solution would be great, be it an isolating box or piping that actually runs into the fender well. Awesome work so far, though!
The suction tube was made for testing different sized MAF housings and may be similar to a production short ram intake. Building a cold air box in this location would not be out of the question. Making a full CAI looks likely also.
should be, I mean even with the car shifting very fast and being done automatically, the throttle plate should still close during shifts. Afterall, the mr still has the same bypass valve as the gsr in all the pictures, so it should function exactly the same.

We have it on the dyno right now doing some testing on the catback and taking some videos of the exhaust. If we get our internet back today I will try and post up some results and video. Right now I am posting from my phone

I LOVE the snow. We get a bit here in Baltimore, but we dont get that lake effect snow like you guys up there. If I had it my way, I would move up further north...too bad the wife hates cold weather.
