RRE Custom Stealth Exhaust (evo X)

So this was going to be a new update to the old thread... but this would'a turned into a new thread by itself... so I thought I would create a new thread just for the progress of the X exhaust/testpipe (rally cat) and Down Pipe.

***these pics were taken from my sidekick LX... sorry for the ****ty quality***

-Chris

PS: More updates comming within the next few days.

thing can be sweet but they will have to put a flange somewhere to be able to ship that sucker, otherwise well pay 100+USD for shipping

The cost would be determined by how "custom" you want it.

If you want SS or Aluminized Steel, if you wanted flanges to seperate sections, how many resonators you wanted, if you wanted a muffler.... there's a lot of aspects to take into consideration.... your best bet is to contact Mike W at RRE

email is Mike@roadraceengineering.com

They can customize ANYTHING you want.

If you wanted it like mine, just tell him you want the same type of exhaust that Chris with the White Evo X has.

I did my 3'' custom catback yesterday looks exactly the same except I only used 1 18'' bullet muffler before the Y with 4'' magnaflow tips. I love the sound, deep and throaty. sounds like a evo. I payed retail for the material and labor to the guy, only cost me $325.00.

If it sounds even remotely similar to the IX exhaust that they distribute, it is without a doubt one of the best 3" systems available. They will customize the exhaust to your liking depending on what you "the customer" want. As it stands right now, RRE's system for the IX is the quietest true 3" system for the 8 and 9. The next closest exhaust will probably be the Cobb system. They sound really sport tuned without being excessively loud under normal driving conditions.

The welds on the exhaust pictured above arent nearly as clean as Buschur's or AMS's systems but I wouldnt doubt that it can flow as much. RRE does good work.

^ wait til you see the pics with the cleaned up welds and stealth painted black. MAN OMG! what a difference. And for a half mig half tig weld job, it is by far one of the best I have seen!

Right pipe outlet is hanging a bit lower than the left.
