Check Engine Light
Have the car for a couple of days and I have the CEL. I haven't gotten the code read but I'm guessing it's the same thing. Car runs fine, only have about 130km (~80miles)
Can I just disconnect the battery and step on the brake for a few minutes and have it reset?
Maybe it's the crap gas that the dealer put in before delivery?

The reflash came out today, check the thread ttled, "first factory reflash," Problem solved! BTW, the problem only affected the first batch of X's. There's info in that thread that shows what vins were effected.

This morning the check engine light came on at start-up. Took it to the dealer, the code was related to timing retard at starting.
Anyone else had this happen? They told me a reset was all that was needed and no issues with the car. They said the factory people said it will happen rarely but could happen again. I suspect they will eventually have a software upgrade to correct.
