Any vendors making a Single Outlet Ti FULL Exhaust

for those of us seeking a max performance (min weight) piece. Seems soon even single cylandre Karts and MX bikes will have "dual" exhausts. As this car's a 4 cylandre and not even a boxer; think this a grand opportunity to drop some, albeit low placed, weight. While it's super cool everybody is making stuff for the majority that wants more tips, is anybody going to accomodate the guys wanting something more performance oriented. This exhaust in full Ti would probably weigh less than 10 pounds I rate. I for one would pay a premium for adding less weight (and complexity and ease of access to swaybar adjustments &c).

I'm with you on this one, Dan. I'm really close to ordering the Ultimate Racing unit but want to see if anyone can produce a titanium piece.

Less tossing, more fabricating.

Good to hear. I'm sure though that once you see the prices of Titanium units you'll be giving us a call

Darryl - let's say we could get 8 units sold - would you consider a special one off run for us - shape should be same so only set for Ti sections and welding would be different - could you make a competitive run at say $1300/ea??

email me offline if it appeals to you: dermotorsports@gmail.com

depending on the muffler price, I might be able to do that.

Steve:

My perspective would be to make the exhaust a totally minimalist design such as attached with the biggest pipe diametre and as straight flowing as possible. Further I would prefer if the actual muffler was "hidden" such that it was unlikely to catch on track kerbing nor interfere with adjusting rear camber or sway&c. Moreover I would want this thing unobtrusive as to the exit area so that it looked as though the factory would have delivered it as such. The ultimate Db should be below 104 measured from side of vehicle at 60 feet. A test pipe should be available made of Ti.

Yeah, I'm guessing it'll be in the same realm of the aftermarket Porsche catbacks.

WOW, you've got some serious demands!!! Find me a 3" in, 3" out relatively small muffler I can put under the car instead of under the bumper and I'd be willing to do it. Prob need 7-10 pre orders roughly. Aluminum wouldnt be too hard to do either, just have to do a SS/Ti muffler most likely
