Love it, not to loud, sounds great. Did you try this exhaust without the test pipe using the stock catalytic?

Never tried it, the Testpipe with Mini Muffler was already installed. But with the stock cat it should sound even more quieter.

nice exhaust, thanks for the sound clips.

and for all the "negative" posts, not everyone wants a race exhaust that's loud and attracts attention. i'm 100% sure 5zigen knew what they were doing with the piping size, shape, and muffler type. comparing it to racing exhaust systems is just not fair

Nice sound! Do you know what the stock diameter is? I'm guessing it's 2.25".

PM Jon at Vivid Racing about the price, he will hook you up with the same exhaust. Thanks Jon.

I would assume 40ps minus the drive train loss to convert it to whp???
Any time Archie,

Bit of a late reply, but if anyone wants the exhaust they are available!

Regards
Jon

Is the midrange bump in power that good? Does your butt dyno agree with the 5zigen dyno chart in the first post? 40 ps is really alot, you should feel that for sure.

On HKS's new exhaust the replace just the muffler with similiar size piping on there muffler and the claim only 5whp with just the muffler. It seems far fetched that the mid pipe addition could add that much power if the internals of the HKS and 5zigen muffler are similiar in flow characteristics. Just wondering, because I am seriously considering this exhaust.

The low to midrange was significaly increased, you can feel it once you step on it.

Lets say your cruising at 3rd gear and you decide to step on the gas to get at it. The car responds right away and you will feel this rush of torque and be pushed againsts your seat.
