CBRD intake...

well, not really an "intake"

we popped a kn on the car, and made a nifty little bracket.

im strapping the car down now for some testing.

ill let you know what it does.

Nice Chad,

Looking forward to seeing how that "new" style K&N works out. I was eyeing those for our kit as well.

Only thing I would be worried about in that position is the radiator fan washing the top of the filter with hot air.

this is the X with the MBC (set to 20.5 psi)

versus stock solenoid at 22 psi

this was after we tightened the WG actuator, and you can see that the car definetly holds more boost up top, with less taper..

also notice the change in AFR's, about a full point at peak torque...

i wish i could log it and see what the timing is doing....

anyway, here is the chart....

pretty happy... 278/278... were the highest peak numbers, but i never post the absolute highest pull for testing.

so the real question is how much power did the filter give, and how much did the other adjustments make...

Chad, are these numbers made with the WG tightened one turn like you had it in the other thread, or has it been tightened even more since then?
