I got a friend with an 08 lancer, and we are both trying to figure out if these Evo X forged pistons would fit the lancer.

I know they share the same engine, but will they fit in the lancer non-turbo models? I dont know about the specifics of the internals and if they are the same.

 

Why would you get them for a Lancer?

 

they have an aftermarket turbo kit for the 08 lancer now, so i guess people would probably want them so they could turn up the boost, just like with the older lancers

Is that a good price on the pistons btw? It includes shipping so i think it is pretty good.

 

can i as why you would wnat to be swapping pistons already?? its not like anyone is really pushing the stock ones (if they are anywhere near s strong as the 4G63 ones).

i say hold fire till the Vendors start coming out with them. they will probably beable to tell you at what level of power you will need them then.
