Turbo back exhaust for the X
Does anyone know if a single catback, test pipe with o2 bung, and a downpipe installation need a tune for our cars. Can the car run fine with the full turboback for a few weeks till i get my tune. Im still waiting on my intercooler, intake and pipes b4 i get my tune but im dying to put my exhaust on. Also, anyone know if there have been CELs going off even if the sensor is in the bung? Its an ultimate racing turboback. Thanks!
I threw a CEL (2 really)-one was for the O2 sensor (UR said its a 90% success rate...figures I'm the 10% that doesnt pass) and one for a Fuel Pump Reg-that one scared me-so I took it off. Oh, and the TP and th Buschur CBE was really really loud in my garage....but sounded good.
I'm waiting for a tune for the full DP+TP+CBE.....imo.

Okay so I installed the ultimate racing turboback for my X. And it sounded great....in the beginning. The more i drive it, the more i hear like a screeching or shrieking sound. It sounds like one of the pipes unbolted and im dragging it across the ground. I have the downpipe, straight test pipe, and single catback. Maybe i didnt tighten the bolts all the way, idk. Im going to jack the car up again and look to see if i can find the problem and maybe tighten all the bolts a little more. The sound doesnt come from the low rpms only when i go past five. Although i noticed the sound going lower on the band the more i drive it. Anyone else have this problem or have a solution for me. A guy from the X forums told me i should have gotten the resonated pipe...but i dont think thats the problem, then again im not a professional to all this. Please HELP
