In this image from the perrin page, it shows the dp/hfc pipe has two sensor bungs. I know one is required for the o2 sensor. Is the 2nd one for an aftermarket sensor (wideband, etc.)?

No. The stock X has to 02 sensors: 1 before the cat and 1 after. The one before the cat is a bit harder to see.

I wish it did have a spot for a wideband. I just had a wideband bung welded into my Perrin yesterday.

Install was extremely smooth; fit was perfect. Exhaust has a nice low growl. Those Perrin boys know what they are doing.

I soaked my 02 sensors with liquid wrench several hours before install, and they both came right off. I did not experience the issues that others have had with them. That was a relief.

I'm redynoing to see where I am at today, and then next installing the Perrin intercooler and routing the wideband, map sensor, and mounting gauge.

^^Wish I would have thought to do this. The 2nd O2 sensor did not come off so easy from what the guys at the shop told me. I think they might have stripped trying to get it off.

Actually a Million and one! Actually you might be the second or so. On the old car some guys said it was worth 10-12HP and while we never built one it is for sure something that i could see make "Some" power. But the X "02 housing" (which doesnt actaully have an 02 sensor in it) is made much better than the 8/9. These are some pics we took to show people.

Its not to say that we will not make one, but its not first on the list. In the end it would be an expensive part that would look really cool but may not do much. And BTW it is a pain to install! When we installed our BLOUCH polka pickle on the EVO, that was the biggest pain to deal with.
