Seriously we used this same basic muffler setup on another car making 450WHP and it made the same HP at the same boost level as a similar car with a straight through muffler. Even though the air makes a turn its all very open and free. This was on an STI with a GT3076R turbokit. I just comes down to how restrictive the internals are. And the muffler you see is like 2 straight through mufflers, but instead of connected with a y, its connected with a big chamber.

We can supply some back pressure numbers, not a problem, but not sure how this is going to help when no one else has these numbers to supply. Give us a little while and we can do that.
LOL what I'm making now? Stock....but eventually that's the plan. I always prefer to buy one part instead of the same part many times so it can keep up with what I want to archive. I want to get to 400whp and eventually maybe 500....but that's so far in the future, but I like knowing what I got can handle that for when the time come. So that's awesome and thanks for response.

I hope my response wasn't off putting, but the HP rating thing can be confusing even with intercooler cores. But if your reasonable goal is 400WHP, then even the stock exhaust will work, but you will gain more from ours!

Well 400 is my initial goal. But of course I won't be able to keep it at that and I want to keep going higher. So I want a system that will give better gains and free flowing as much. So thanks for the awesome help and responses.

If it looks good and quality work, it might justify the extra cost sometimes. Maybe it could be made like JDM with polished Ti tips without the JDM cost ? Some Ti tips on the exhausts out in the market look like stainless steel colored blue like Ti...looks cheezy to me. If it is done right, I think it'll look pretty good.

Your exhaust has a good tone to it...you are probably going to end up in my top 3 exhaust choices .

Jeff has great products. I have a Perrin High Flow Cat on my 3" DP & CBE for my ix, and I love it. I tried the oem cat first, then got the Perrin HFC...and it made a huge difference . I recommend getting the Perrin exhaust. Good American made products.

My only question for you Jeff is if you have a LICP for the stealth FMIC for the ix? If so, can you PM me the price?

Thanks,
Chris

Thanks for the compliment and for asking. PLEASE excuse my ignorance, but what is a LICP? If I have one I would love to help you with it! Thanks again!

Also hats off to Jeff!

Seriously nice write up and I love the system. I drove the car extensively on the local race track last week and what a difference. The combination of the Turbo-Back, new ECU programming, etc. and WOW!

Lovin it!

Also, on any questions that anyone has on this or any other PERRIN products (and even some non-PERRIN if you think I could answer it)

Thanks guys and gals!

At this time only the upper in black to match. John L. is working on a stealth lower IC pipe though. So within 6-8 weeks.

Thanks!

If someone had a decent non-round or quad available, I'd probably be among the first in line.
+1. I agree 100%, i like the quads a lot, it's good to be different every once in a while

Jeff

A couple of questions if you have some time. I am kind of concern about the hanger for the midpipe. I posted a pic down below of the hanger I am talking about. Will the final production have a better mounting point? It just seems to be twisting the hanger pretty good. Also wouldn't it be easier to just mount the O2 bung on the other side instead of bolting the bracket on the high flow cat? The exhaust looks top notch and I am looking forward to seeing the final production.

Thanks
CJ
