Nobody else thinks that the empty hole looks dumb??? Or are there proven performance increases going single??

being turbo charged , the less restriction you have for the turbo , better will perform.
It is just a way it works.
Since the X have the most straightest exhaust design since the evo born, why would you split it , unless to give a "nicer" look or make it quieter.

IMO the empty whole doesnt look all that bad because of the diffuser's design. If it were just two holes then yes going single would look terrible, but because there are so many inlets/fins/stabilizers (whatever you would like to call them), it doesnt look half bad
