i have a mbc set at 22 then tapering to 16, and today i adjusted the wastegate rod 3 full turns. when im in the 5800-7000rpm the car starts to pop and kinda cutout. am i overboosting ? noob question how many turns on the wastegate rod while running a mbc??

 

Probably hitting boost cut....

 

how do i fix this problem or adjust them together? thanx

 

You might want to consider getting a tune.....that will get ride of your boost cut condition along with making more power out of your car....

 

yeah im going to have tuning tech do a proper tune at the end of august, i just finished up a new cat back exhaust and the car loves it
