Dual Exhaust-needs some advice

I would like to replace my stock exhaust with a dual catback.
I did extensive searches here on this forum and on the other evo x forums.
There are a lot to choose from, but it's difficult to find the right one.
I would like it to sound at least stock at idle. A little bit of noise (rumble) is ok.
On the interstate it should not to be too loud.
Cruising around town should have a bit of a aggressive sound to it but not loud to have the cops pulling me over.
I would like to keep it under $1000 if possible.
What are your choices?

I thought about getting the HKS Legamax. Does it sound better after it breaks in?

Why don't you want it a little on the loud side. I'm going with the Ultimate Racing dual exhaust. They have sound clips, maybe you'll like it. I already know I am going to wake up the neighborhood. 3" downpipe, straight pipe, and the exhaust (coming this week). Whatever setup you choose hope it works out.

I don't mind the loud noise. My former 03 Evo 8 had a Espelir JGT500R Exhaust. It was loud, but it had a silencer that I could use to pass state inpection.

The exhaust that I really like is the Ultimate Racing dual exhaust with the mini-muffler option. I really like the setup. I am just worried that it would be really loud at idling and driving on the interstate.

Check out the Buschur dual catback, but have them use the "Quiet" Magnaflow muffler instead of the BR Bullet.

i have the works stealth exhaust. pretty quiet and has a nice rumble to it and not too loud. only $200 with a core exchange. what they do is the modify the inside of the exhaust to give a better flow. you can change out the tips later for something good looking
