MR Who will answer????
So, I tracked the MR all weekend long at MAM and the car performed ammmazingly to say the least. I noticed two problems though:
After about 12 laps the car lost all power while I was in the middle of pushing it out of a turn, I looked down to see the car yelling at me "SLOW DOWN!" the SST had overheated!
When I was lapping, there was an instance when a new Z06 and I went out on the track together. It was incredible, I was leaving him behind in the corners until the half mile long straight away came along and then Vroooom, a big yellow 500hp blurrr goes by me. HAHA! So yes I will have this sucker tuned and modded but who is going to make a clutch upgrade??? They have clutch upgrades for the DSG for around $1200 so I know someone out there is intelligent enough to come up with one for the SST.
My question is, WHO WILL ANSWER THE CALL????
Who is going to make a cooler for the transmission????
Who is going to make an upgraded clutch for the SST????
If someone can answer this I will mail you a cookie.
Hopefully this will inspire someone to at least look into producing a cooler.

We currently have a Trans Cooler we're working on , we expect to have one soon .
Good to hear voodooman, seens like the MR is up to the task, it appeas that the issue is related to heat, so maybe with the cooler by XB might just go the trick. And the car is brand new, im sure there will be upgrades for the SST, i hope so anyways.

It may just be a little band aid on a huge cut but the guys here in Japan are using electric fans on their SST oil coolers. Don't know how much it would help out on a track though.
the stocker just needs replacement - is not that good at all ! Once a better unit is installed the trans will love it and so will the consumer
. We're really busy right now but as soon as we have time we'll put the car on the life and take some pictures for you guys ..
HAHAHA , The only issue is cost but we're looking into all options for production . This will be some time out most likely until we have more folks modding their MR's that way we can recoup some of the initial cost for R&D . It can 100% be done its just a matter of time , I did hear of another shop here in the states working on this so I'm sure one of us will have it out in the near future .

The B&M Hi-Tek coolers are nice too.
