HKS EVC EBC works great on the X

The new advanced features of the new HKS EVC unit really work well on the Evo X - holding the bost well out towards red line - much better than a MBC in fact

We had almost as good a boost holding with just the HKS EVC as we had with a WGA

Here is the car

And the Dyno Sheet

Ams Intake and FMIC with pipe kit
HKS Cat Back Exhuast - stock cat
HKS EVC

Dyno Flash Custom Ecutek tune

Why is your smoothing set at zero?

We like to see the chart as it is measured and not smothed out - it tells me more about how the car is running

Hmmmm... I run everything (I map bikes) at 5. I can see a running problem (chain, tire out of balance, trans etc..) on 5 as well, but the biggest reason is with the notchy plot you get on the lower settings (especially on zero), you get a bogus, artificially high power reading.

i need to head down to you guys with my x... I put a 200 dollar down payment on a tune for my old tC like last june and never made it down since the tC blew its motor like a week later. Could I transfer that old down payment to a nice tune on my evo or some BR parts?

We are a shop !

Install is not that bad but seriously on a nice car like a X you should take it to a professional if you are not qualified or experienced. There are a lot of wires to hook up on the EVC like TPS and Speed etc to activate all the advanced features.

I cannot get the throttle or tach to work. Could you help me out with how you got yours to work? I cannot even get a signal.
