Problems with Turbosmart Eboost2 on EVO X

I recently installed a Turbosmart Eboost2 on my Evo X.. i set the boost at 23 psi, but whenever I partially press on the throttle the car always goes to limp mode .. my car has the full ETS catalog and is still untuned .. i was told that the car goes to limp mode because it is still untuned, and if i were to tune it i wouldn't get that problem.. when i turn off the boost controller, the car holds at 12 psi for some reason, but stops going into limp mode .. any suggestions on what to do? or what configuration i should put into the eboost2?

Lower your boost until you get tuned for it.

The ECU is sensing more air coming in and going into limp mode to protect itself.

i'm experiencing this same problem with my tuned evo X. Performance upgrades include the EcuTek upgrade, turbo back exhaust, K&N drop in filter, Samco inlet hose, Apexi AVC-R valve controller.

My experience is that when i'm in 5th gear at partial throttle, around 3800 RPM the car goes into limp mode. I then have to pull aside and switch off the car, then turn it back on and the car apparently comes our of limp mode but the check engine light is still on.

I believe that at this point the car is not back to normal mode and is still protecting itself. Any help here would be appreciated.

You need to go back to the tuner and tell them whats going on so they can adjust the tune..

Either way the limp mode is because you are exceeding the trustful airflow checks. You can either:
A. Turn down the boost until the codes stop happening
B. Get a tune that correctly adjusts the trustful checks maps to account for the additional boost especially at part throttle.
