Turbosmart E-Boost Problem

i have an e-boost 1. all of a sudden the other day, i started having a problem with the gauge. when i start the car, the gauge cycles, then reads 0.0. when i move the car, it jumps to -10 or so and stays there. it may move 1 psi every so often, but definately not reading current boost. all setting are ok as far as i can tell, and can still be cycled through and changed. any ideas???

The rubber gland maybe developed a leak...most likely closest to where the hose meets the firewall.

the hose just runs throught a rubber gasket in the firewall, no gland there. all other vacuum lines seem to be intact and connected properly. is there any way to "re-boot" these? any other ideas?

I believe he is referring to the gland at the back of the gauge, part of the interface between the gauge and the hose.

couldn't tell you how likely that is, BUT, I suggest to contact turbosmart techs, they will know what to do.

hopefully its not the one on the back of the gauge. the manual says the only way to service that gland is to send it in for repair. and i've tried emailing turbosmart, with no response. and even talking to one of their distributors, which was no help.
