Yes, but do we not buy these types of cars for that reason. once you start putting mods on the car, there is no way the stock clutch can keep up, esp. if the car is daily driven. A stock clutch will not last long on these cars under "spirited" driving conditions.

are power shifting and speed shifting the same thing?

also does shifting fast with the clutch save clutch life or does it reduce the life?

how about half-clutch shifting?
does that ruin the clutch?

Well, maybe you I'd say there's probably a 50/50 split between those that launch and those that don't. I've NEVER launched the car, but I track the hell out of it and drive hard on the street. My driving usually involves a lot of lateral Gs though.
