Works Short Shifter Kit

Does anyone know how much shorter in height is the Works Short Shifter Kit compared to stock? Can't seem to get a hold of Jaime at Works. Thanks!

I don't know the exact amount off the top of my head. The throw reduction is 25% which is directly related to shifter height (moving the pivot point reduces throw and height). I'm betting its around 15% shorter but I'll try and get a more exact answer for you.

I'd say about 20-30% shorter shifts and its a good 3/4" lower than the OEM shifter.
It also moved the shifter about an 1" over to the drivers side. (atleast it feels like its closer to you while driving)
I got mine as an anniversary gift, best gift I've gotten. I love it!
Definitely made a big difference.

Ok.. I'm going to revive a zombie, but I'm trying to find the answer to the original question. I'm thinking of getting a Works shortshifter, but along with it I'd like a new Redline shifter boot. Redline needs to know the reduction in knob height from stock. Does anyone know off hand what that may be? I've read everything from 1/2" to a full 1". Any help would be appreciated.

Minimal reduction in height, WORKS did it right, please see the link for comparison photos vs. stock.
