Hello, I'm new to the EVO. Coming from a mkIV GTI.

Does anyone have ANY idea when the main companies like AMS or Buschur will announce a complete turbo kit for the X?

Early on there was a great start to a thread with a twin scroll setup. I can't even find it anymore.

And the other options of putting on a GT3071 or GT3076 have been replaced with dynos of the FP red turbos.

I'm not complaining, just looking for some guidance so I can learn where to look or what to expect.

AMS has a turbo kit and it should be in full production soon. The twin scroll thread was about a Garrett setup, set for release this spring. Just search around and if you cant find answers, just ask. Someone will always help.

Are you talking about the twin scroll bolt on that was released at SEMA?

there was also another thread about one with a tubular manifold. It might be that one that is advertised as the "first twin scroll kit for the evo X" thing. But no one seems to use it.

i'm loving the AMS progress though. I just wish they'd chime in and admit to when a complete kit would be available.

 

AFI turbo makes one for the X, you should check into that. www.afiturbo.com

AMS doesnt have a definite release date yet, I talked with them a couple weeks ago.
