I can't get Evoscan 2.8 to log using the TCU option (the EFI option works fine) - it just times out and prompts to turn the ignition on.

So I'm just curious as to whether anyone else has ever been able to log TCU items in any car with a SH2 auto ECU such as a 7 GT-A or Eclipse?

The car I'm trying to log is an Australian Magna (sold in the US as a Diamante) which has an ECU very similar to the 7 GT-A and Eclipse.

 

I thought it worked to some extent on the Legnum TCU, but not sure.

From what I've gathered, all the automatic Legnums (and contemporaneous Galants) appear to have had H8 ECUs with a second H8 chip on the ECU PCB for the TCU; it wouldn't surprise me if it did work on those.
