Launch Control Problem?

Launch Control Problem?

when ever i put the car into 1st gear and rev up to 5500rpm the service required(!) light comes on. Also the asc turns off. Ive only done it at a total stop never launched it. When i turn off the car the light goes away. Anyone know whats up?

Wow not sure but you my have to have the ASC turned on but like I said I'm not sure for I have never launched the car and never revd it up for I don't have a Exhaust yet

No, the ASC would automatically turn itself off completely anytime it reved over 5500 rpm. On a side note, it never did it while the car was driving. Only when the car was stopped did the light come on.
