Recipe for over 410 whp on pump gas
Last post, my car was putting down 359 whp on pump gas which is not bad considering the minimal mods I had. My car now makes over 410 whp on pump gas.
The latest increase was due to a Blouch Dominator IIx turbo bought from CBRD, installed by Xtremeboost, and tuned by Jestr Tuning. The Dom2x is the result of extensive testing done by Blouch Turbo and CBRD in various configurations and housings. Blouch and CBRD spent much time testing varieties of wheel combinations to enhance response and power output before deciding on the final configuration that was installed on my car. Prior to looking at Blouch, I looked at the FP Red and considered it for my car, but I am now glad that I went with Blouch. I am very happy with the performance of my Blouch turbo and the customer service I experienced from CBRDs Sales department. I was also impressed that in only two days after I ordered my turbo, it arrived at my doorstep. Great customer service!
My latest mods are as follows:
1. Custom made FMIC by Xtremeboost
2. Custom made UICP by Xtremeboost
3. Custom made LICP by Xtremeboost
4. Custom made Intake by Xtremeboost
5. Custom made Downpipe/O2 housing by Xtremeboost
6. Custom made Test Pipe by Xtremeboost
7. HKS EVC (no throttle position or rpm sensors hooked up)
8. HKS BOV
Note: Those items above this point were good for the 359whp.
9. ACT Clutch
10. 950cc Injectors supplied by Xtremeboost
11. Fuel pump bypass performed by Xtremeboost
12. Blouch Dominator IIx direct bolt on turbo from CBRD
Xtremeboost custom built almost every part and put the combination together. Jestr Tuning tuned it. As I have stated, the car is putting down over 410 whp on only 25 lbs of boost (does not spike over 25 lbs) on pump gas!
I cannot increase the boost beyond 25 lbs because I experience some surge due to having a stock exhaust (other than a test pipe). I have not changed the exhause because I want my car to be very quiet but it looks like I am going to need one now. I am also running the stock exhaust manifold. Xtremeboost has some ideas for a quiet high flowing exhaust so I will soon be installing a new exhaust. They also have a nice custom aftermarket exhaust manifold. Once installed, I will get another tune so that I can turn up the boost and make more power. 450 whp, or possibly more, on pump gas should not be a problem. I can only imagine what I could get on race fuel!
I will update you all after I install my new exhaust and get another tune. Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions.
I don't have anything to hide regarding the mods on my car (other than the fact that I don't post stickers all over it so it looks stock to unexpecting challengers) and I'm willing to share any information with anyone so don't hesitate to ask.
BTW - I have over 13,000 miles on my car and drive it daily. I have not experienced any problems with it to date. I began my mods at 4,000 miles. That is a tribute to the great work done by Xtremeboost and Jestr Tuning. I highly recommend them both! They are both located in the Orlando, Florida area and worth the drive.

Any pics of the engine? I'd like to see how all the custom pipes look. Also, which ACT clutch did you go with and how is pedal feel and engagement compared to stock?
Very nice numbers! An exhaust and manifold will really open it up.
