REVIEW
Everyone has their side of the story when viewing a picture. Point and case I've taken a picture of the exhaust in 2 positions with one taken lower than the other while the other is higher than the other. This way you be the judge if it's a sagger LOL. I've grown to love the way it sits now and it has a nice angle to it. It's definitely not a straight exhaust exit, it has a very slight bend to it like the classic single exhaust systems.
The noise that comes off of this is like sex on a beach during a sunset. It's so damn sexy and it puts a smile in my face and in my pants each time I give it more gas than driving it Eco-mode. If I had to rate this exhaust I give it a 10/10 because it stays true to the HKS line of exhaust. Deep, Mean, Large and I do mean large I can freaking out my fist inside the tips, and lets everyone know to get the *** out of the way when your on the throttle.
As for droning there isn't any droning during highway speeds from what I have experiencing from driving this entire week. Between 60-75mph the tones are drivable, at 75-100mph the baby pures. At 100-135mph, it surely sounds trackable in terms of exhaust note you hear all the time from those race tuned cars at the track. When you let off the gas completely during any gear, (I don't know if this is consider droning), but between 3250-2500 rpm the car make a very very deep exhaust note that sounds like a V8 sitting next to you. It sounds sick and I'm sure everyone can hear you when you do that, so pimp. It makes rolling to a stop badass.
Improvement in throttle response???? Definitely a lot faster and smoother from Mid to Top end. Roughly 3800-6500 rpm.
Can it set off car alarms? Yes it can, I keep setting of this Caravan that is parked down my block everyday when I come home from work. And this was only a 2500 rpm pass on 2nd gear. Also I love how I can do an entire indoor parking lot full of car alarms. Note to people in Cali, if you want something stealth look away from this exhaust, or maybe wait for the Silent Hi-Power retailed for $1199 full Stainless Steel system.
Exhaust vids to come when I can get a hole of a good camera or camcorder that can record good quality sound. I hate people that does cell phone vids with choppy sound, I'll for sure won't do the same.
Pics were taken on Sony Ericson Xperia X1 cell phone.

pghdsm has posted the first true sound clip of this exhaust, so you guys better thank him for being the first to post it. These are his links to the video. It sounds deep and clean, what an evo should sound like when it pure.

If you guys haven't heard the news, HKS has released the Hi-Power non-silent version of their exhaust for Evo X. It has 75mm piping to twin tips at 115mm. On HKSUSA's website it says it's for offroad use so I can only assume it's way louder than their kittykat growling Legamax series mufflers. This Hi-Power system is a full catback and it's priced between $650-800 depending on where you get it. Below is the HKSUSA's website, a picture of probably the production version mounted for advertisement, and a sound clip of the Silent version of the Hi-Power. No one has yet to install this new non-silent version and post a sound clip, but you can use the Silent Hi-Power video as a baseline and imagine that tone but louder

the exhaust in the video does not look like the hi-power pictured. Here are some higher res pictures as you can see in the production piece it has much longer tips then in the vid.

*JUST READ YOUR POST MAYBE I SHOULD HAVE DONE THAT FIRST*
We are working on getting some sound clips made but don't have a eta as it is not being done in house.

Thanks for posting this. I had the hi power on my VIII and it sounded nice. Not too loud, but loud enough. This is a very tempting product. I was trying to wait for the AMS dual, but this may just be the one I want.

Yeah rallisport I can't wait for that sound clip when you can get it. Or maybe I'll just wait to install mine when i get it.

The vid was of the Silent version of the Hi-Power. I never said it was identical in shape or form. I only merely referenced that video for a sound clip that might sound somewhat similar but should be louder since it looks to have the same mounting location and probably using the same mid pipes as the Non-Silent Hi-Power version.

No problem hope it gets to you quickly. If you have time to make a sound clip I can get you a discount coupon for your next order. Let me know if you have the time to do so.
The exhaust piping is 75mm which is 2.95 inches. This just replaces from the Cat Back so it will not effect the emissions of the vehicle only the performance and noise level.
