Post Mods with Carb #'s (we should have a sticky thread with this info)

I have heard of lots of people getting ref tickets and hoods popped lately and with the CA economy going into the toilet the police will be looking to hand out more of these types of tickets to generate more $$$.

While thinking about this I was thinking we should have a thread dedicated to mods that have Carb #'s to allow those of us in CA (where CARB is god ) to know what mods are acceptable to the powers that be

I know that X parts are still being developed and some parts are probably pending CARB approval, but I thought this type of thread could be helpful.

So far the only mod that comes to mind is the AEM intake?

Are any of the Injen parts CARB legal? Are there any UICP/LICP that have CARB #'s. If you know of any parts that are CARB Legal or Pending CARB approval please post them here

AEM intake and the new Nisei UICP in Matte Black would be your best bet getting around Cali. oh and the RRE stealth exhaust.

and don't get a BOV just because of the sound, unless you're pushing high boost psi.. but cops pick up on BOV like free donuts and milk.

I have an HKS drop in filter, RRE UICP, and HKS Legamax exhaust on my X (I am not too worried about CARB #'s myself.

I was just thinking that a thread like this might be helpful for members who are worried about what to put on their car and thought I would post the thread.

Appearantly it wasn't that good of an idea or there aren't any other parts with CARB #'s...LOL due to the lack of responses...

yup, cops in Cali are getting hit hard since we are in debt by about $48 billion. plus the state ref is out of commission for the time being, so the cops are making unreasonable tickets just to meet quota. so.. WATCH OUT!
