according to what some others have said recently, the X reverse gear is actually made up of 1st and 3rd. If those gears work fine, maybe your lockout broke or something else. Best bet is the dealership.

I think that's the first I've heard of reverse failing. Take it to the dealer and put that warranty to good use if you've still got it.

you sure its broke ? sometimes depending on the way the tranny is sitting when you park once you start the car up to move and go into reverse its blocked..all you do is shift from..1,2,3 and then try reverse... it will work

My reverse just went out as well. It is at the dealer now. What did you find out? I am not looking forward to the diagnosis. With all my mods, I am sure I will be told it is not under warranty.

It looks like 5-6 guys within the last 2 weeks have had this very same problem . I think these transmissions have an issue with some of the pins inside . Looks like issues with the diff pins and selector pins .

How many miles do you have you your X.I hope my reverse doesn't go out.I don't want to give my car to the dealership with my mods. Then they are going to say warranty denied.Hopefully it's not in the transmission that's doing it.
