couple of goodies

arrived to me..
Now, just waiting on my Work's lightened flywheel. In the meantime, my X is at the dealer getting that notorious oil leak fixed. Not to mention that recall repair on the hood latch to..Aint it a b_tch, that everything happens, and breaks all at once?

That should be excellent news. Usually you can expect over 10whp loss with cat vs no cat, even more with a more powerful car.

by oil leak, do you mean that very slight oil leak that makes a mess over time? i read that it was simply tightening down one bolt?

Yes, thats the one.
I just got back from the dealer, and the mechanic told me that my main rear seal was leaking. And the leak was the cause of my clutch slipping..

The timing couldnt of been better. Since Im getting a new aftermarket clutch + lightened flywheel installed. The mechanic just needs to put in a new rear main seal. And that will take care of my oil leaking problems.
Anyhow, my Work's flywheel arrived this morning. Boy that thing is light, only 9.2lbs
