CEL with downpipe and cat-delete

I have a CEL with my MXP downpipe and cat-delete pipe....I'm assuming it is from the 2nd O2 sensor because the cat is gone and reading too much CO2??

Can I clear this for good or cheat it some way?

Is the motor running rich because of this?

I kind of need a wired simulator the stock cat was cross threaded when I took the rear out it stripped completely out and the dealer wants $383.00 for a new O2 sensor--yeah right! So I had to JB weld the rear one back in and well its kind of stuck in the cat delete now

I called around and I guess no companies can make them anymore cause they got in trouble but someone has to have some laying around somewhere???

search for spark plug non fouler. If you can get one of these in there securely it will space your o2 sensor out further so it doesn't read as much of the exhaust gases which causes the computer to throw the code.

This is how we get around it

You can also purchase a couple of anti foulers to pull the o2 sensor out of stream.

You could of cut/cleaned the threads on the o2 sensor using a die. Mine was cross threaded too

I tried that but it was so stripped it was even possible to go a size smaller even. I work in a machine shop believe me I know what a die is. So I'm trying the de-fouler method right now and doubling it up using two because I still got the CEL with only one of them. It took longer but it still popped up. Hopefully two does the job I'll let you guys know in a few days....
