positive battery terminal question

below is a picture of the gray terminal block in front of the positive battery connector

as you can see when trying to loosen the upper bolt the gray housing snapped...the far right top area under the clear plastic cover cracked

what does this do and is there anything my buddy should worry about?

well after reading through a service manual it appears this is called a fusible link and the specific one that broke powers in cabin electronics

-mmcs
-a/c

after snapping the red plastic cover back on it apparently is holding it tighten to get a singal and everything is working as it should

So we figured out what that fuse was for...I'll call it the Evo X RS mod. I now have no power windows/locks/mirrors, FAST key, A/C, heat, MMCS, or license plate lights

All that because I was trying to install a stupid motorized hide-away license plate frame

I'm looking into getting a replacement part, so hopefully I'll have my amenities back shortly. If anyone happens to know what the part number is, please let me know.

Bump to see if anyone with electrical knowledge knows the best way this can be fixed (ie. solder it or replace the whole part, etc.)
