clutch?
clutch?
Just noticed if I get on it (not flooring it but about halfway)between 2500 and 4000 rpm's the RPM's jump up about 1000 then drop down around 300RPM's. Is this my clutch going out? It does it in every gear in the same RPM range.
Do you have a GSR or MR?
If GSR...
There have been one or two reports of the rear main seals going and oil get's on the clutch which makes it seem as though the clutch is on it's way out. Best bet is go to the dealer and get it checked out.
Good luck!

when i thought my clutch wqs going out someone told me to put the car in fourth at a dead stop and then try to start out with it in fourth and rev to 3500 and let the clutch out and if it doesanything other than die immediately then ur clutch is goin bad
Well it goes to the stealership Wednesday and we'll see what they say. I'm sure they'll deny it since I gave then so much crap over the paint chips. And I'll be talking to an attorney tomorrow about that, but thats a different story.

no my clutch i didn't slip at all when trying to start off in fourth...the point is to not slip it and see what happens. if it stalls then still good and if it goes (without slipping) then you should order a new clutch asap
the stage two exedy was $629 shipped for me from www.optauto.com
Look underneath your car, and see if you can find any oil leaks where the engine butts up with the transmission. If so, your rear main seal is leaking oil causing your clutch to slip. It happened to me..
