Question ~ What Intake and Exhaust options do you want to see Independantly Dyno'd?

On January 31st 2009, the Toronto Lancer Club conducted an evaluation dyno test of Intake options. The Works High flow filter and the AEM Cold Air Intake. The Injen Intake system was unavailable at the time of the test, but now we have it.

Results of that intake benchmarking can be found in the following thread thread https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/ev...round-1-a.html

Our car club will always attempt to conduct these tests every 6 months generally depending on sponsorship funds for these events. Generally covering the Dyno Rental fees and the assistance of Mr. Frank Sprongl to do the constant installing and uninstalling of each part. Simply put, the question boils down to what Intake options would you like to see benchmarked next. Fortunately our costs are kept to a minimum when the Manufacturers of these bolt on parts freely donate their hardware. This goes along way to helping us test these options. We have spoken loosely with other manufacturers and they have shown the same amount of co-operation and interest. As mentioned before this shouldnt be used as the end all validation test of any one product. But it should work to collect further information and make them available to the public sphere. Dont think the tests would be fair? Think again... Not only is Frank Sprongl going to be operating the dyno and exhaustively work to ensure fair and impartial results. This dyno test is done infront of a live audience with EVO X owners of all strips. If something looks foul, you can bet your *** that someone will raise that card and dispute it on the spot.

What I am looking for here are a list of Intakes and a list of Exhausts since I would personally hate to leave a name out and not have a chance to add them into the mix. When enough names have been thrown out, we will use a poll to do an official vote to see what is at the top of the list.

A conclusion of the Intake testing will be conducted this summer. And Exhaust options will begin in The winter. It is entirely possible to have more frequent testing done, should we find additional sponsors beyond Mobil 1.

Thank you for your interest and help

Tsudo exhaust since they make a pretty outrageous power claim (60+ whp) and are super cheap.

They're both straight through mufflers...power would be identical with the only difference being how loud each muffler is.
