But, it will ultimately be up to the end user which turbo to go with. They are relatively equal in terms of performance. Personally I think it comes down to availability, support and price.
Blouch Dominator 2.0 takes the win with what you just said.

Availability- 1 week to your door

Pirce- cheaper by hundreds then the red.

No problem, you won't regret it. The Dom 2.0 is a great peppy turbo.

Not trying to start anything here but you might want to upgrade with all the basic bolt ons first like your FMIC, UICP/LICP, and all that stuff and max out the performance of the stock turbo first. Just my opinion though. The stock turbo has a lot in it if you get the right parts and a good tune.

What we need are more people with race gas/E-85 plus the red/dom2. Blacktrack is running a red on his car(at least i think he is still) with race gas doing 32-35psi and making 500+ on AMS's dyno (i am not positive on numbers so don't quote but it is doing very well).

The red has always begun to shine with better fuel, and it appears to be the same on the X. I am not sure about the dom but i would assume the same thing. So I guess if you plan to stay on pump then ignore this but just remember these turbo's love higher boost that you can run with race/e-85.

I would be more interested in these numbers...

..

Both turbos make the same power between 25-27psi on 93octane with full bolt-ons.

I will take the blouch dom. 2.0 over the FP Red for the evo x.

The blouch turbo can be bought and shipped to your door in a week.

The FP Red's wait time is horrible.

Read through the two threads and you will have all the information you need about both turbo selections you are thinking about. If you have any other questions, feel free to ask!
Correct me if I am wrong, but the red was on 26.5 psi and the Dom2 was on 25psi?

Dom2 looks like a better pump gas turbo (fatter curve, more area under the curve) while the red has that bigger than what you need for pump gas look to it (straight power curve shooting up at 25 - 35 degree angle).

Obviously that could just be this comparison, as all cars are a little different even with the same mods....

All these dom2 results make me wish I had tested the Dom2 for blouch rather than the Dom1

I stated both these turbos make near like power between 25-27psi. Yes the 2.0 was on 25psi and the red was at 26.5psi.

Everyone knows reds don't start shining to 25+ psi. I would have to go with what you said for pump gas the dom 2.0 has alot of power under the curve. The Fp red still wants to climb up and has been proven time and time again at big boost.

Interestingly, the dom2 has higher torque up until 6000rpm than the red, despite running lower boost. This explains the 79% efficiency of this turbo. It spools faster too, 300 to 400 rpm.

It may be that both turbos have similar peak power, but the dom2 is def. a winner, on pump gas at least.

If you have ever been to Iraq, you spend your entire deployment planning your parts list. I am sure he has that covered.

You are a 100% right. I have a list of parts that I will start purchasing in the next couple of weeks.

I will be using pump gas(91 octane). Im also considering a water/meth kit.

I have a Dom2.0 with Cos MX1's and I'm pretty happy with it. I even have a GT3076R sitting as a paper weight which I may never end up installing.

I'm putting out 445whp/415torque on 100 octane RON.
