Turbo upgrade with SST trans

Ive been thinking about doing a turbo upgrade lately. I just want other peoples input in this topic.

Do you think the trans, with all its problems, could handle an upgraded turbo?

Obviously a clutch upgrade will be mandatory but what else?

Check out the X Dyno Results section to do some research. I'd consider an FP Green, Dom 2.0, or BBX as viable options. These all seem to perform well on the SST w/ proper tuning.

this has been answered alot now, you can basically hold almost up to 400 on stock clutches, its all about how they tune the tranny with the TQ that your putting down. Also driving somewhat sensibly will help prolong your vehicles tranny life as well. It's still going to be recommended to upgrade your tranny, but i would start small first, maybe RAD turbo, or spend a helluva lot more and go X, then from there go on to larger turbos, because honestly its how much your wallet can flex as opposed to can the tranny hold it.

yeah i know, the thing that makes me question myself is that this is my DD. If anything would go wrong I would be screwed because it gets me from point A to B.
