my x has the stock exhaust. when i turn it on after at least 8 or 9 hours and let it run for a few minutes to warm up, the exhaust makes a low faint pop almost like a knock. it sounds like its coming from that huge muffler at the end of the exhaust. does anyone elses exhuast do this? or does that not sound normal?

 

My stock exhaust did that too. Metal pops from heat or when it cools or warms up. It's normal.

 

I think it's normal. I hear this as well and it's professionally tuned.

 

cool thanks for the responses i feel a little better about it cuz i really started noticing it after the tune and i was just worried a might be running to lean or something

 

Same sound that mine makes...I was actually going to post about this as well. I guess you beat me!

 

it just seems like it got louder after i got my car tuned though thats why i was a little sketch about it
