Question Is the Evo X PERRIN Downpipe good or not?

I want to buy this downpipe http://www.vividracing.com/catalog/p...8-p-60163.html
, but I am worried because it does not have a mobile joint like the stock downpipe, and because it cannot move it may crack

Does anyone have this downpipe?

Here you can see how the guy from MRT explains about this problem at 4:00 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yZ2aX2CLud8

I believe this downpipe was produced without a flex as it is designed to utilize the stock O2 housing (or similar) which has a ball-style flange that allows for movement in the system similar to the Evo 8/9 platform. A flex would only be necessary, or advantageous rather, on the downpipe with an integrated O2 housing.

Whichever route you decide to go I would love a chance to earn your business Our pricing and customer service is unbeatable!

But I don't understand what has to do the O2 housing with the exhaust ball-style flange?

I am checking on the price discrepancy now, in regards to the ball style flange two bolt ball flange kits give you a leak free exhaust connection but allow for engine flex and misalignment.

That $128 in savings could possibly add up to quite a headache. Before ordering, search the "Service parts Review" for "vivid racing".
MAP is a reputable vendor with a good business ethic, i'd pay extra for that. Maybe not $128 extra... but extra.

I also need an APS SR56 turbo kit for Subaru STI 2008, if you have that and if you make a better price than vivid then I should get them from you.

The Perrin DP sucks because it doesn't fit. The flange that bolts to the O2 housing is wrong and doesn't have a cup taper to fit the donut gasket.
