The first VDR graph shows clear gains from the Full-race down low, I would say 3000-5000 it's an obvious advantage having smaller, higher velocity runners.
From 5000-5500 you can see the torque curve is within about 10 whp and likely boost is identical in that area since any boost tapering hasn't kicked in yet.
From 5500-6500 you can really see how less boost taper plus some gains from the Full Race can make a difference.
Then 6500-7500 the torque curves seem to be evening out and the ETS is losing less torque on the top end compared to the Full-race. The boost tapering is likely about the same at 7k since that's right about where the GT30's natural flow limits start to taper boost.
Since drag racing will place you in the 5500-7500 range when shifting through the gears having less boost taper is the main reason the new setup works well but I do think the Full-Race manifold is slightly better power up until 6500. If I was revving this setup higher say 6500-8500 with cams and valve springs then the ETS setup with larger runners would likely win out as HP levels reach higher flow levels.
Not a simple answer because of the mutliple mods done at the same time but that's my take on it!
