Intake boost solenoid nipple required?

Recently, I have placed an order for ETS intake. I did not add boost solenoid nipple as an option. Do I even need it?

I believe you can either VTA or dump it back into the intake.

You can just leave it vented. It's an emissions thing is why it's run back into the intake.

So there's no reason to purchase the nipple then?

Run it back into the intake, not doing so is intentionally creating a small boost leak.
