Blitz Nur Spec C-Ti Installed

I just installed the Blitz exhaust and wanted to share a few pics. The exhaust is very quiet even with a test pipe and AMS widemouth down pipe. It is probably just a few db louder than stock, but has a nice deep tone to it. The only thing I did not like about the exhaust is that the piping diameter is reduced to around 2.85" to mate with the factory cat. I may have this section modified with a 3 inch pipe and flange. The install was around 30 minutes.

Here is a pic of my old exhaust, 3 inch turn down with a dynatech silencer:

This is where the piping diameter is reduced from 3.15" to 2.85"

Install pics

I have seen Chinese rip offs with better welds. Its a bit sad cause it is a Japanese product. I hope its real.

Yeah the welds aren't very pretty, but they had good penetration. Don't worry the exhaust is real. It came in a Blitz box with instructions/paperwork from Blitz and was purchased from a reputable vendor here on evom that is a US Blitz distributor.

I'm pretty sure over the next couple weeks with normal driving, it will get louder. I know the blitz nurspec I had on my 04' STI with godspeed DP was pretty dang loud after a bit.

Nice! I was wondering when someone is going to pick up the other one that was available. I got the same exhaust feel that the exhaust is really quiet compared to the tradition Blitz exhaust. Most of the newer exhaust that is coming out of Japan is JASMA approved so thats why this exhaust is so quiet.

I was hoping that the exhaust will be louder with test pipe and downpipe but with out the highway droning. Can you get a sound clip of how your setup sounds? I'm really curious to see what it sounds like because i will be running the same setup. Thanks.

I will try to get a sound clip up soon. I was going to get more pics yesterday but the car got rained on. The exhaust has absolutely no drone at any rpm or speed.

Looks great, can we get another pick of the rear level to the ground so we can see how it hangs? And yes sound clips with the TP installed would be killer!

Burned tips go really well with blue Evos. Very nice looking exhaust.
