New Turbo and Tobz Tune

First of all Tobz is the Man!!!!

I'm reminded of the Puralator ad I keep seeing, the tag line is something like "I'm not letting another mans hands touch her". Well Tobz hands can touch my car all He wants, it only gets better.

I picked up the car last night and just from limited driving it feels a little more responsive and powerful, horsepower is about 349 and torque is around 327. Numbers are a little different because of the altitude we're at , about 4500-5000ft, and keeping the stock SST intact until I can afford to beef it. The FC Red + Specialty-X turbo back exhaust system + Tobz tune = many happy days ahead.

Last but not least my wheel gap is gone thanks to the Swift springs.

Maybe this weekend I'll do some mountain driving to really test things but first I have to find a stretch of road that's not congested.

Updates to follow.

*never mind, saw the other thread you got*

Did he tune at a dyno? And what did he use for tuning boost wise (MBC)? I have been waiting for him to do a few things then I was wanting a tune.

Good info I'm new to Colorado in the FT Carson area and I'm looking for the Evo scene. Where is Tobz located? I'm tune but the car have been running funny since my moved to this altitudes. So I'm hoping a new tune will fix my problems.

Ha, Tobz was telling me today about your car today and it sounds like a blast! An X MR with that kind of power is quite a ride. Enjoy!

Tobz is in Longmont (kind of a hike, but you can make it there in about an hour if you go 117mph. ) I'd give him a call and see if you can work something out. Tobz is a great guy and knows what he's doing, you should definitely head over there if you can. I got to hang out with him today and he's eager to work on more X's.

The car feels great! This was tuned to 24 pounds because of the sst. There's a ton left. Give me a shout if you need.

You're the first person that I've seen bolt on a turbo with few other mods (fueling, intercooler, cams, etc). Did you baseline the car before adding the Red?
